My thanks to the Australia Post Stamp Bulletin for the pics.
My name is Charles Potter and thanks for visiting.
I specialise in Aussie material from the real earlies to recent decimals and have a comprehensive range of the more tricky stuff to obtain... gutters, overprints, trials, exhibition stuff, etc.
If you have anything difficult you are chasing, or simply want some information, feel free to email me at the link below.

Eureka 150th Anniversary  June 29
Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Eureka Stockade rebellion, where the Victorian goldminers expressed their dissatisfaction with their lack of representation and responsible government.
In sheets of 50 - 2 panes of 25 - and a minisheet which has a se-tenant pair. The 50c stamp shows the Eureka flag, the Southern Cross as it was known then. The $2.45 portrays Peter Lalor who led the diggers and later became a Member of Parliament.
The minisheet also has the diggers' oath and sketches of the uprising by Charles Doudiet, also a member of the rebellion.
Impressions   July 13
Yet another blatant high values issue by Australia Post aimed squarely at the collector's wallet and it's difficult to argue the merit or need of such. Two $1's, picturing Koala and Penguin, a $1.45 Clown Fish and a $2.45 scene of Main Beach, Surfers Paradise - all printed in sheets of 50 with no gutter. (Thankfully).

Christmas Island - Underwater   July 13
A sheetlet of 20 stamps showing underwater reef life. 4 rows of 5 in denominations of 10c, 25c (2 rows) and 50c.
